Cemetery Tours
Our Cemetery Tours are held on the 3rd Friday of each month, weather permitting.
Due to Fraser Coast Regional Council regulations closed in shoes must be worn, no filming or recording of the Cemetery Tour event is permissible.
Handy if you bring a good torch along with you.
You must supply your full name & phone contact details of all attending for our records.
Tours start at 6.30 pm (6.15 pm check-in). Tour finishes around 8.30 pm in the chapel. Light supper is provided.
Rear-in parking available outside the Monumental Cemetery fence.
Cost is $10 for adults & $5 for Primary School age children. Money (cash only) will be collected at the Monumental Cemetery gate entrance (Walker Street).
The Cemetery Tours comprise of stories related to our pioneers who created & built Maryborough & District. We do themes on occasions such has Anzac's, The Plague, Mayors, Murder’s & Mayhem along with many others.
The Cemetery Tour team research the stories being told on the night to ensure they are true & factual representation of our past.
